Roundtable

Roundtable lets you create AI characters with distinct personalities, voices, and visual identities.  Talk one on one or bring them together in shared spaces where they can talk with you and with each other.

They can generate images of themselves or of the scene, all powered locally with stable diffusion.  Each character can be assigned a unique voice, and can be further customized with per-character LoRA settings.  

Supports models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Ollama (local).

  Requirements

  You'll need ONE of these for the AI to work:

  Option: Ollama (Recommended)
  What it is: Run AI models locally on your computer

  What it is: GPT models in the cloud

  Ollama Setup (Recommended)
  1. Download Ollama from https://ollama.com
  2. Install and run it
 3. Open Command Prompt (search "cmd" in Start menu) and paste:
  ollama pull llama3.2
  Wait for it to finish downloading (~2GB)
Roundtable will detect it automatically on launch.

  Optional: Image Generation
  For AI-generated character portraits and scenes, you'll need ComfyUI running locally. This is totally optional - the app works  fine without it.

I recommend using Stability Matrix, can be downloaded here  https://github.com/LykosAI/StabilityMatrix
Make sure you choose ComfyUI during install, and download a recommended model (SDXL or FLUX).  
Be sure it is running before attempting selfie or scene generation.

(Note:  Defaults for Ollama: localhost:11434 and ComfyUI: localhost:8188 can be changed in the settings if needed)

  Quick Start

 1. Make sure Ollama is running (or enter your API keys in  Settings)
  2. Double-click Roundtable.exe
  3. Create your first character
  4. Start chatting!
